Summer Recreation Program is designed to provide kids a safe, supervised environment that encourages physical activity and fun throughout the summer months. Activities may include arts and crafts, field trips,
pool days, etc.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF CLASS:
Performs duties pertaining to the operations of the Summer Recreation Program, including safety, scheduling of staff hours, ensuring the safety of and for the general public and staff, as well as record keeping. An employee of this class has extensive public contact. An employee of this class may be required to do some janitorial work and a variety of administrative duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years old and be able to work an open schedule.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:
One (1) year experience in sports and recreation activities. Must have background on the basics of sports and recreation activities.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Certifications:
American Red Cross First Aid & Safety
Community CPR or CPR for the Professional
