GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF CLASS:
The purpose of the class is to organize tee times, manage the flow of golfers onto the courses, and ensure customer satisfaction. The class is responsible for receiving tee times for the golf course, organizing the tee sheet, distributing golf carts, regulating golfing flow, and upholding customer relations. The class works according to set procedures under direct supervision.

ESSENTIAL TASKS:
Regulates the amount of golfers who enter the course and gives them instructions on when they can play.

Provides and retrieves golf carts to customers throughout the day.

Receives phone calls for daily and weekly tee times.

Creates and organizes the tee sheet to organize the flow of golfers throughout each day.

Assists in selling merchandise within the pro-shop, working the register, and counting money.

Maintains positive customer relations and upholds a high-level customer satisfaction.

Performs related tasks as necessary.

MATHEMATICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires performing basic addition and subtraction, such as making change or measuring.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
Requires comprehending simple signs, labels, symbols; understanding routine lists of instructions when explained; little or no reading or writing required by the job; basic speaking skills not necessarily including complete sentences.

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires simple, repetitive, manual or operating tasks involving a few definite procedures; requires minor short term planning and little attention for accurate results.

JUDGMENTS AND DECISION-MAKING REQUIREMENTS:
Requires very few decisions, affecting only the individual; works in a very stable environment with clear and uncomplicated written/ oral instructions.

VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE PREPARATION

Requires instruction that is sufficient for satisfactory job performance.

SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
Texas Drivers License.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a short demonstration up to and including one month.
